Here we are again at Monday and it’s time to celebrate ourselves. Tell us something good that happened to you. Something that made you happy. Something that you did that made you feel good.
It doesn’t have to be big news or anything earth shattering. Small is good, too.
Today I want to celebrate the winners in my 150 followers contest. There were a ton of entries and my husband did the honors of picking the winners. So here they are.
The winner of the first prize of a $20 gift card is VR Barkowski. The two winners of the $15 gift cards are Justine Dell and Summer from …and this time, concentrate.
Congratulations to all three of you. Click on my email in the sidebar if you would please, and shoot me an email with your email address and your choice of gift card, and I’ll get that out to you as soon as I can.
So that takes care of that. What about you? What’s happy and/or good going on in your life? Share it with us and celebrate yourselves.
Congrats to the winners. This weekend my mom watched my kids while I did some revisions. It was bliss.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the winners. I hung the first part of the fence, and it looks totally freaking awesome (my dad said so) and I critted 7 chapters for a friend's WIP.
ReplyDeleteAnd so my Lovely, tell us what good things happened to you this weekend...big or small. You never share. *pout*
Congrats to the winners!!! I love knowing them all, that makes it more fun!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the winners! And thanks for throwing a fun contest. :)
ReplyDeleteCrongratulations, winners! Contests are so much fun!
ReplyDeleteI finished pretty good rewrites of 3 chapters in 5 weeks--just in time for a critique group meeting tonight! I think I'm hitting my stride with rewrites.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the winners! My husband got his pilot's license this past Sunday, so we are celebrating that.
ReplyDeleteYay! Thanks, Sarahjayne!!
ReplyDeleteI put some more flowers and vegetables in the garden, and they look amazing. Also, my in-laws brought me a beautiful clematis. I'm loving my garden, small as it is.
Congratulations to the winners, and, for me, today is a good day as it's a Bank Holiday here in England. That means no school, it's a four day weekend! :D
ReplyDeleteHoly moly! Thank you, Sarahjayne. And thank your husband as well. I'd compliment his superior picking skills, but he married you, so there's no reason to belabor the obvious.
ReplyDeleteThis weekend I decided not to scrap my current WIP. Instead I will enhance the historical component to make it marketable as commercial fiction. This is huge, because I love the story and the thought of giving it up broke my heart.
I'm with Anne, I want to know what good things happened to YOU this weekend. C'mon share!
The good thing with me is that everything finally fell into place with redrafting chapter 21, and I am now on chapter 22. Only 3 chapters left to go, and then I will have a story I am happy to share. Woohoo! It's been a long time coming.
ReplyDeleteI would also add that I went out for pancakes with my mum today, and they were very good indeed!
And apart from the fab contest, what good things happened to you this weekend?
Congrats to the winners!
ReplyDeleteI had a mini-breakthru on one of short stories this weekend that I'm pretty excited about. Somehow, sitting in airports gets those juices flowing. I can't explain it, but I'll take it.
Congrats to you too, Tara, for making 150 followers!
Congrats to the winners!
ReplyDeleteI spent the weekend having a girls weekend with my sister & mother in Atlanta! Lots of fun, food & laughter ;o)

Congrats to the winners! Yay!
ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of good things happening in my life right now. I feel so fortunate!
Congrats to all three winners!
ReplyDeleteMy week away from blogging was wonderful... so that's my status update. Now I'm very happy to be back. And hopefully you're having a great week too, Sarah Jayne. :o)
Congrats, winners!
ReplyDeleteI'm happy to report that I had decaf Starbucks today. Caffeine isn't good for the baby, so I'm proud that I've kicked the habit. :)
Congrats to all the winners!
ReplyDeleteMy query letter is coming along, which makes me happy :)
Congratulations to the winners. And now you're over 170!
ReplyDeleteThe weather was nice this weekend. I got out a lot with my husband. It was nice to have so much one on one time. I had a nice bike ride to Harvard Square. Being that the big things aren't happening, I'm focusing on what's good in the everyday.
I've written two scenes of a novel I didn't think I'd write any time soon and discovered one possible cause for why so many agents never respond. Their servers may be blocking my emails because of the links to my blog. *Sigh* So I fixed that, status queried those agents who are non-responsive and have already heard back from one. She was fascinated, which made the rejection on the basis of my genre a little less of a bummer. Plus I had an awesome weekend. Life is good. :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats to these three wonderful winners!
ReplyDeleteSomething good that happened to me... I finally accomplished my temporary To-Do list, consisting of tons of laundry, errands, and, yes, writing. It feels awesome to be accomplished.
Congratulations to the winners!
ReplyDeleteI'm in the middle of my own giveaway so that's what's happening right now. It's more exhausting than I thought! But fun!
