Here we are again at Monday and it’s time to celebrate ourselves. Tell us something good that happened to you. Something that made you happy. Something that you did that made you feel good.
It doesn’t have to be big news or anything earth shattering. Small is good, too.
I’ll start. Shelley over at Stories in the Ordinary gave me this Sweet Blog Award. I’m not normally a big fan of cute, but when I saw this, I fell in love with it. It’s just so cute. And Shelley gave it to me. That makes me happy. And it also makes me happy to pass this award on to some really deserving bloggers:

ReplyDeleteI'm celebrating with a contest. Okay, it's not a contest to celebrate Monday and the fact my kids are back to school so I can work on my wip, but maybe it should be. :)
My baby turned 2 yesterday, and I just love birthdays. The cake, the look on her face at all the balloons and banners. Opening the presents and realizing it's all hers (she's the youngest of three, so doesn't get many new things that are just hers). We also went to a butterfly show at the conservatory, which was just awesome.
ReplyDeleteWe got to tell our kids we'll be spending the summer in FL: going to Disney, Universal, Sea World, the beach, etc. They were ecstatic :)

I had the most fun teaching a class on Sunday. What could have been another boring meeting was spiced up with four ladies sharing their experiences but me cutting them off at major cliff hangers and then they shared the end results at the end of the meeting. We have a lot of tears and laughs. A lot of fun.

I celebrated last week on my blog on Friday. But over the weekend...I got 8 hours of sleep in one night!!!!! That's a big celebration! LOL

Hmmm...Husband and I mulched the front beds and trees, and planted some annuals. I got some of the revisions done (not the dreaded research part...I'm still being bad). I feel good about getting stuff done.

ReplyDeleteHappy Monday to you and congrats on your award! This weekend my friend and I swept our daughters away for a night at their lake condo to celebrate my daughter's 14 birthday. We shopped, hot tubbed, watched a scary movie, and took tons and tons of pictures. Fun fun!
