TGIF! and a Contest

Just a couple of things before I wish everyone a Happy Holiday Weekend. Abby Annis is having a 200 followers celebration and contest. Go here to check it out for the chance to win some very cool swag.

My current WIP, which apparently is also my once and future WIP is chugging away. I am, however, in dire need of naming help. My male lead needs a name, so if you are so inclined, please leave me your suggestions in a comment.

That’s it folks. Short and sweet. If you are traveling this fine weekend, have a safe trip. If not, I hope you enjoy the fun and frivolity of BBQ and fireworks at home. Happy Fourth and I’ll see you on Monday.

  4. Have a great weekend! How about Bruce? I'm especially fond of that one & it's not very common in fiction.

  5. Mitch is a good name. Don't think it's used often.

Have a happy and safe 4th!

  7. I agree with Summer -- need to know more about the character in order to offer a name suggestion. :)

  9. Here's wishing you a wonderful holiday!

As for naming your hero...I'm fairly new to your blog, so I don't know a lot about your book. What's your hero's background? His heritage? Is your novel historical, fantasy, YA, Suspense (I could go on and on)? Knowing some of this could help us come up with a possible name that would work.

  10. Happy 4th to you! Without more info on who your character is, it's hard to just throw out a name. However, here are four great boy names that I used for my real life sons: Robert, Zachary, Charles, and Eric.

For characters and children, I use a name the baby book or the phone book.
